Got a late start this morning. My dog must of been sick last night and crapped all over the kennel. I knocked down a new pond Sunday and this was my first chance to hunt it. I wasn't expecting much so I didn't invite anyone. Well sure enough I pull up 15 minutes after shooting time and there's 5 in the pond. I got one shot off and rolled 1. I hurried up and put out the decoys and mojo. Waited 10 minutes and nothing! Finally about 7:00 3 come cruising in I rolled the first two and clipped the third. He ended up going down in some y'all second crop and with the pup sick at home I couldn't find him. 4 shots and 3 birds. Waited around til 7:30 but had to get to work.
