First time fishing help at Rockefeller

I should have my boat trailer fixed up this week so I can get back out on the water after a month. I was gonna bring it down to Grand Chenier and try to make a cast and blast weekend for my birthday.
I have never fished Rockefeller and was wondering if there is a map available or if some of you could help me out. Not looking for honey holes just wanna go run the boat...I have no problem going explore to find fish. I was also told my boat would be great for fishing "the impoundment"? Gonna bring the cast net, is the regulation a 5gal bucket there too? Any do's and don'ts?
