Arriving early on the scene this morning were the gold backs and man they were starving! Who would have thought the reds would be going bananas with water temps in the 60's and the trout playing the picking game? I certainly did not argue with Mother Nature and neither did my customers. I had Joey Simoneaux and crew on board today for a time like they've never experienced. They had high hopes for trout seeing all the reports this week but once they started bending the rods on the reds it was all they needed to enjoy their day in the marsh. It was such a hot bite that I actually miscounted and we ended up with 3 short of our limit! I usually play it safe with the clicker and click a few more anyway. LOL. We played catch and release on a few more and then headed for trout infested waters. The fish weren't as active today though for some reason and we only picked up around 25. It's all good in Dularge!
