Topdawg and Bayouchub.. I know exactly WHAT a 3-4 legit sea is.. I've got 25 + yrs as a 3rd party safety consultant overseas and here in the GoM.. Caspian, South China, North Altantic, Perian Gulf, Gulf Of Tonkin, Bay of Campece just to name a few.. 3' to 65' seas.. I've seen them.. I worked in 25' to 10,000' of water all over this earth I worked on some of the largest, TLP's, Semi's, Drillships, Deepwater Production assets in the WORLD, as well Deep water intervention vessels the last 5 yrs. At one time I held a 100 ton, unlimited masters GC license.. Now I just have a 6 pack.. Not to mention I started as a deck hand when Breaux's Baycraft were making gunboats for the Vietnam War, back in the early 70's. I'd do sea trails on my weekends and summers.. So between my Work and Recreational time last 25. Say 160 days a yr... That's being conservative. Then another 70 days a yr. for 30 yrs. Well: U do the Math.. But then again Who's counting.. But I would agree.. I WOULDN'T go in 3-4' seas in a 25 GW.. Wettest rough riding thing I ever seen.. So Yes; with about 6,200 days But then again I'm in training to be (Dubs) Deck *****... Nough SAID.. BIGGUN OUT... |
