FlagUS Dularge Trout Action!

Good Trout Bite!

4/10/14....Day 2 with Perry Pellegrin with Shell was another good day on the DU! We only had a few hours to fish as Perry and his guest had to get back early. We fished roughly 3 hours catching 45 nice trout and 4 reds by 9:45 am. Swim baits in bunker and blueback got the job done quickly. The trout were feeding on small minnows and the swim baits mimicked what they were eating. The trout were finicky as we had to let the lure float with the current without reeling in at all! If we reeled in with a steady retrieve you would not get a bite. Nice fish up to 20 inches and the reds averaged 7-8lbs each. No place like the DU!! Good luck fishing.
