Bass still biting at lake martin

Took my 10 year old brother out on the water today. He has not been fishing in a boat too much and he had a blast. He didn't catch any fish but learned to flip and pitch like a boss. I caught 5 13-16" eaters on a black/chart power worm and a big girl on a white/chart chatterbait with a pearl white havoc grass pig trailer. Someone was asking earlier if they were still biting out there. Just gotta stay on the trolling motor and cover water. Caught the big one in open water with scattered lillys. Looked like she still had eggs,let her go unharmed.
