Not that far from Burns Point landing..better than running out of the Quintana. I do remember when it was almost a continuous reef from Point au Fer to east end of Marsh Island. Shell dredging and storms took out most of those reefs.

When did they stop shell dredging? The 80's? Apparently the military used to target practice on rabbit island. I have found what look like morter shells there.
