BigGrin 11-2 Rockin & Rollin in Lake P

What in the hell was I thinking this morning?

After putting some good specks in the boat yesterday, I decided to make another run to Lake P this morning. I was greeted at Bonnabel by solid 3fters and a stiff NE wind. Too one look, packed it up and left. As I'm driving home, I'm thinking to myself, I wonder what the other side of the lake is like? Hell, I'm already up and the boat is ready to go. So I get on the Causeway and it's off to the northshore.

The wind was still kicking, but the waves weren't bad and the water was clean. I started off about 1000yds from the bank and worked my way south. At about 10 the wind did the same thing as yesterday and died. I picked up from where I was and headed to the same spot I was working yesterday. The fish weren't as big today, but they had plenty of them. #25 hit the box a little after 12 with a bonus flounder.

Of anyone wants to catch puppy drum, head to the Causeway. It's insane how hard they were hitting the jigs today. All the fish came off of Lemon Drop Hybrids on 1/2 oz jigheads.
