Default Where you least expect it

I moved to BR a year ago to a home on the end of a lake in the middle of the city. Was excited about the idea of fishing right off the back yard at first. However after talking to some of the neighbors they said there was not much fishing in the lake just some perch and catfish. I tried a couple of times with no luck since it is shallow and muddies up quick after a good rain. This afternoon I went to throw some bread out to the ducks and a nice size bass blows up in front on me. Grabbed a rod with a senko tied on and cast out. Bam a fish jumps on it and I lose it due to not setting the hook in surprise. Cast again and its on, caught 3 bass in 10 cast without moving. May never leave home again.
