It was day 2 for the Florida guys. The guys caught reds on Friday with Capt. Josh and today they caught trout with me. I was expecting another day for reds because the water temp was 51 degrees. We caught a few rat reds and then while throwing bait shrimp under a cork we caught our first keeper trout. I switched over to Shrimp Creole Matrix under a cork and that's all she wrote. The guys put a whooping on the trout. I tried tightlining every so often but the trout wanted the baits suspended and wouldn't touch the tightlined baits. I did throw the Softdine a few times and caught one while missing a few. All the trout had full bellies of shrimp which explains why they wanted the Shrimp Creole under a cork. Thanks Capt.
