Default Da Pernt 12/12

My son Kyle and I headed out this morning around 7:30 to the bay. Beautiful morning to be out. Calm winds all morning, but no tide moving. I figured it was gonna be a bust, but got to the first spot and no one around. Caught 2 nice fish and bam, a boat pops up Another fish, another boat, and so on and so on. We trolled a small area that we were catching in, until the boats literally hemmed us in and were close enough to fish in our ice chest. It wasnt fast and furious action, but we had a decent bite going. Bite started petering out so we eased out of the crowd and headed to the cove. When we left, there was 14 boats surrounding us. Didnt do anything in the cove, but only fished it about 20 minutes. We had to come in early,so all in all it was a good day just to be with my boy and catch a few chunks.
