Grand Chenier Hunts

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. We surely did. Made 2 hunts one on Christmas eve and one Saturday (12-27). Christmas eve we harvested 5-Greys, 3-Scaup and 2-Coots. One of the Greys was a real trophy (last pic). I probably should have kept him for the wall. Saturday we managed a limit of 4-Greys, 4-Spoons, 2-Scaup, 1-Red Head and 1-Bufflehead with 2-more "gumbo coots". Took the "Old Man" Cooper the super dog on Saturday and he still has it. He is old and I can't send him after logng cripples anymore, but he is still a great dog and at 13 get's around good. My wife and i had it "rain" ducks for a moment on Saturday when 4 greys came in and all stayed with us both getting doubles. That was a great moment for us and when Coop came back with that 4th grey he wasn't even breathing hard. He paces himself now and i think even he realizes he is not a pup anymore.
