Default Surf Question

So, my birthday is coming up, and for that, I always ask for a free day away to just sit on the beach and fish. I see that a front may make it down to the coast next Wednesday night/Thursday, and Thursday just happens to be the best day for me to get out there. I'm sure 6-12 hours of a light offshore wind isn't enough to clear the water much, but the days prior look pretty calm, so maybe I'll get lucky. My question is, can you regularly catch trout on those jetties that are closer into the land between Holly Beach and Little Florida? My plan is usually to just head down and wrestle some Bulls, but if I could tangle with some big surf trout, I'm all in. Thanks for any input.
