Default BL 8/15 pb trout

Only fish big lake 4-5 times a year and only in summer/early fall so not often we see fish this size in my boat.

Normally we try to fish vbay or Tiger Shoals since it is a closer drive and we catch some really decent trout but normally a 21" fish is a big one for us.

Saturday am we moved around quite a bit and never got on a good bite but for the short time we noticed the tide start dropping we ran back to launch to cast net some fresh finger mullet. We much prefer fishing plastic but by that time of the afternoon we were trying to put a few more fish in the boat. Caught her on a Carolina rig with a 5" finger mullet in the ship channel. We ended up with a couple other nice trout, a few flounder and a few more slot reds.

Don't know what she weighed but she was over 24" and fat.
