Wow what a day... so head out before the butt crack of dawn...stop at dagos to ice and shrimp up and jump on the road headed to the point. That's when things get weird.

Heading down the hiway, got a truck behind me, next thing i know they blow by me like i was stopped...pulling a boat! Jez, keep on truckin, left at weeks island heading to da pernt, road is dark. Daylight rounds the bend. Fool with LED lights burning bright. we close the gap, im looking at the edge of the road, bam! Rear view mirror explodes. pull over flashers on. dude pulls over behind us 1/4 mile back briefly then takes off. Figures he is turning around. Lucky it was only the mirror.

See light coming and end up being buddys friends. Ask them if they seen a truck turning around...nope... Waited another 15 min then jump in the truck and head to the landing.

Round the point headed towards Ivanhoe canal and see a deer in the water heading offshore! Spin round, take a few pics, get em headed back to land.

Started hitting spots for reds, they were slow all day. Caught a bunch of rats but took home 3 reds, 1 flounder, and 1 cat.

Made it home without incident...
