Default Interesting...Leon and David Ortemond Reef

So while I was out on the water not catching a damn thing on Friday I decided to do some recon.

On a previous trip I was mapping and made passes over the west side of the LDO reef. To my surprise, I could not find the rocks in my recording. I have fished the reef but mainly the east side and know there are rocks... So I made some Idle speed passes over the reef. After I found rocks on the east side we drifted the reef from east to west as well as made multiple passes at idle looking for the borders of the rocks.

Below are the results of my recordings. The Yellow border is the published waypoints of the reef. The red border is the outlines of the rocks I found using my HDS12. With the results I will be making more recordings to validate my findings but... this is quite interesting...

Also, if you were out on Friday and caught...I m not sure if I want to hear about it...I got skunked...A few hits but nothing committed despite promising report of fish being caught on Thursday.

Ok, I want to hear about it!
