Closing Weekend Little Chenier

Hunted Friday solo and managed 4 birds. (3-Scaup & 1-Gray) My wife went with me Saturday and Sunday. We did well Saturday getting 8. (3-Grays, 3-Scaup, 1-GW Teal and 1-chicken.) Sunday we were able to close out with 3 birds. (1-Widgeon, 1-GW Teal and 1-Scaup). I realize this season was slow for most of us, but remember it is a privilege to be able to participate in this sport and no moment out there should be taken for granted. Each sunrise, each first bird, each person you share a blind with, every single memory is precious. Enjoy each moment when you are out there participating in this sport. Hunting partners, dogs, even hunting spots pass away quickly. I am grateful for the 2015 - 2016 waterfowl season. Thank you to everyone who shared it with me!!!
