I've got 3 interstate batteries for my troll motor. Minn Kota 4 bank charger with battery conditioner. Stays plugged in when not on the water. Main thing is to monitor the fluid levels in your batteries. Keep them topped off and you should get quite a few years out of them.
If not, you can expect no more than 2-3 years on a battery. Heard great things about optima batteries, just too pricey for me....!!!!
