I guided long enough to know that anytime you give a customer a bait caster you are asking for trouble. I am really hard on my reels but also take pretty good care of them. I have had issues with a couple but I've mailed the back and had a new one in 3 or 4 days. The concept A's and C's are what most guys are using I have had one of each but prefer the cheaper Inceptions. No doubt if I was guiding and a customer wanted a bait caster I'd give them on older model Curado or Chronarch. I have a 1 year old curado giving me all kind of problems. Spool bearings went out and the brakes are horrible. Makes a loud screeching noise when the brakes engage. Tried oiling them and it quit making noise but now I only get about a 25 yard cast. Turned the brakes off and still the same. I am about done with shimano baitcasters in that price range. The daiwa tatula is worth looking into. Mine have been great so far.
