Well I didnt bother with the early morning launch, the tide wasn't going to start dropping till 730 where I wanted to fish. Hit CP at 800 and the lot was full, but expected that, nice weekend day,as well a tourney.
Tide had just started to fall and I want to wait to hit my honey hole to get the water moving. Messed around at haymark and one other spot, no luck so I decided to hit my honey hole.
As long as there is an out going tide this place always produces, but not like today.
God's honest truth I landed 30+ RATS, seemed like it was every 3rd cast. Don't get me wrong the action was great beats not catchin. I just kept plugging away thinking the big boys will roll in soon. Near the end of the bite I picked up 2 20in fish and a few more rats. The water stopped as well did the bite.
It was about 1 so I called it a day. Only 2 keepers but boy did I have fun all day catching fish damn near non stop.
Here's a nice pretty gold one
