Had a plan to get out Saturday afternoon. Winds were 11-16 knots from south. Kept waiting for it to lay down a bit. Finally couldn't stand it anymore and headed out around 3:30. Water is still muddy but fishable in some of the more protected spots. Spent a couple of hours trying to find something good. Messed with some birds for a while but it was solid dinks. Thirty trout for three keepers. Uncle. Ain't got no time fo dat.

Finally got on some good fish and they were killing my skitter walk. Awesome action but found them kinda late. Ran out of daylight with thirteen trout and a red.

Sunday morning was thinking it was going to be a wash so didn't really jump out of bed. The result was a late start. On the water at 7:30. Went back to spot where they were the night before. Couldn't buys a bite. Took off to another reef. First time there this year. Must have caught the tide just right. It was almost every cast. All top water. Quick limit.

Now, here come the rains.
