8-20 Hot Temps and Fishing

No rain in Empire today and the temps soared and so did the bite,we have only been getting bad reports from people we know but off we went on the westside of the river.All of our trout holes were infested with bull reds so after we would get a trout bite going they would move in and shut it down,we had to stick and move more than normal but the end result was the same,A full box.All were caught over the reefs near the gulf on matrix shad lemonhead under a cork.I have been off the water for a few weeks but I hope to get back to every other week trips.
