I was able to paddle within about 70 yards of those ducks. If the water gets high enough we sometimes have reds and specs in the marsh. After Ike we caught a good number of reds and specs for about three weeks....caught them all right where we were shooting the skeet, its about three feet of water right there and the rset of the marsh is only about a foot deep so they would just stack up in that running water.
