Adam.....you can get a shimano rod at academy for 40 bucks, pair it with a shimano spinning reel for 25 and you've got a rig that will last you years and years...........Tim

You fish with a chronarch or core on a HP slam for a few hours, then pick up the 65 dollar outfit and throw it. you'll give it away to bank fisherman at the launch...
