I have owned two MKs the 70 and the one I have now which is the 80# Riptide Pro with the lift assist boot. Looks like MK made good on the troll motor. I think you just happen to get a lemon!

I feel alot better about it now. they seem to be making it right. just set me back 50 to ship it. i would have spent a 100 though i was burnt out on that thing
