Yep....that offshore can be fun. Nothing like hooking into a 50+ lb Ling compaired to inshore fishing.

One trip, one of the guys had something take his bait and the fish just started swimming away from the rig.....the reel was screeming.

About 45 minutes and 3 miles later......we finally got to see the ~ 8 foot hammerhead shark before breaking it off. The other guys wanted me to take a turn with the rod......I was not up to that punishment after watching them.

gerald do you still go out? if so i would like to tag along with my boat sometime
