![]() been there twice in the last two weeks . Not more than 25 cars in the parking lot either time. A shame when there are twice as many cars in the seafood resturant across the rd. ![]() |

Yeah, the overhead of that place has to be unreal! They were busy as heck last weekend when I went in.
I guess that overhead is what drives their prices so high! |

Yep, I feel the same way. My office is less than a mile from there. Go in once a week to see what deal I can make and there are none really to be found.
They keep insisting to local mayor that they are not closing. I have a good friend in the boating dept and that seems to be holding it's own. but the retail side appears weak. |

I stop there once a month, on my way home from Venice, to stretch my legs and eat a sandwich upstairs. It is a great place to take a break when traveling.
I look a lot more than I buy, but I do find things now and then to buy. Their clearance isle for lures is pretty good. |

i was talking to a marketing analyst about cabellas and he said even though it's on the interstate it's a bad location. The majority of the folks heading to new orleans are not looking to stop and I 10 south is not a thru route.
Bass Pro on the other hand is on I- 12 which is a major east west corridor and Has ALOT more tourist travel than I-10s. That's what this guy does for a living so i tend to believe him. Local purchasing will not keep cabellas alive for long. |
