I have had both, the one with the wire is more precise and can cover much larger boundaries,but its a pain in the butt to find where your wire is broken when it gets cut. The wireless one works good too without the headache of all the wires. I think both of mine were Innotek. Find the one you want out of a cabelas or bass pro catalog,then shop it on ebay. I bough both of mine off of ebay and save quite a bit. Worked on both my lab and weimy. Just keep up with the batteries.
