trying to figure out what the point of your post is. i just looked it up, and hunting / fishing licenses are approximately the same costs for non-residents in both LA / TX. If you are trying to blame Big Lake woes on Texans, then this is a joke. Big Lake is my home away from home and I can tell you I have never had problems with Texans on the lake. If people are so worried about it, then stop keeping limits ever time out!!! After fishing the SFA this weekend I have a newfound respect for our speckled friends and had as much enjoyment letting them go as I did catching them.

A lot of the Texans you are referring to are in the same boat as me in the fact that we were born and raised in LA. When it comes to conservation efforts pick up a copy of Texas Saltwater Fishing Magazine and you might learn a thing or two...
