Isn't bad now that i know about it .The first time it happened i had 2 teenage boys down there for a rainy weekend and wasn't much fishing going on. They stayed on the phonne all weekend and ATT sent me a bill for almost $300.00.
I ended up paying $100 as my phone never said roaming just extended and i had the nation wide plan.
But they did inform me that there was nothing they could do about it and any future charges .

I had Verizon for years and could never get service at Big Lake and only very limited service in Grand Isle. I switched to AT&T last year and while I drop more calls with AT&T in the city the service in Big Lake and Grand Isle (the two places I fish) is great. I was on the phone with a clinet two weeks ago on the south end, had a 20 mintue conversation with no problems.

I will say that out of the big cell phone proivders AT&T's custmer service usually ranks near the bottom. Of course if you never have a real issue customer service is a non factor.
