Afternoon Specks
Went and brought Austin for an eve trip. First spot, 2nd cast, I land a 19 in red on a Jerk Jr. caught about 15 more little 11 3/4 specks, finally austin snagged us a keeper, 13 inches! I snag a 16 in trout (jerk jr.) then more little dinks...Come evening, decided to throw topwater, had a few small blow ups, and WHOOSH, topwater bait gets sucked down, immediatly rips drag,"Austin- You got a bull red." "Me-B.S its a speck i bet!"
Sure enough, 4 pounder. Called it quits, and ran home.
Fun little evening trip.
