I know that black tips are good to eat but i have never ate one. I dont know exactly what kind it was BULL or BLACK TIP but i know it didnt want to get in the boat. I was going to try and take a pic holding it.

haha they got you man? Where did you grab him at? I want to make sure not to grab them there. I've found that around the head and stick your fingers into their gills; they don't try squirming as much. Well at least the smaller ones. Never fooled with anything over 3ft |

They are good to eat but be careful There is a min size on keeping sharks

That is a bull shark.See them quite a bit when wadeing.No need to worry unless one bumps you cuz when it does that its sizing up his prey.Blacktips are good eating.Best thing to do if you catch one and want to keep it is cut the tail off.

2 years ago my 11 year old son caught a 5' Tiger shark on 30' mono at the first rig out of Caminada. He faught it by himself for 35 minutes. We took a few pics and let it go.
