Default When you talk about the Hammock

are you talking about the actual Hammock Lake that's only about 2 ft. deep, or are you referring to the general area on the other side of the Point where the nice camps are? Can't see too many people fishing Hammock Lake with water depths as shallow as it is.

When people refer to the hammock they are talking about the area on the bayside of the opening to hammock lake, including the marsh bank.

Default Ok

that makes more sense. I know I've trolled in the lake and have hit oyster shells with my trolling motor it's so shallow. Are they fishing by the newer opening to the west, or the original Eastern opening where Hammock Bayou comes out?
