In the first pic he posted, look over his right shoulder on the camp porch. Those PVC things. Kinda looks like a "sputnik"!!! It's a ball like thing with a bunch of holes to insert PVC pipes into for fish structure.

its called a 'cedar's bill dance porcupine ball'. they used to be sold at cabela's and bass pro 3 for $30, but after a quick search the only place i see them is on amazon. still 3 balls for $30. no pvc piping included.
i've also heard of people hanging them under their floating docks and that suspending them works almost as well as sinking them.
