Corrosion X will not clean off the oxidation like Elecrtra Clean.
Corrosion X will prevent any new corrosion. Cut off bad connector, re-crimp with a heat shrink type butt splice and seal. Then cover the sealed ends with liquid electric tape. Sealed for good. If the connector is not sealed, then use Corrosion X. It will have to be cleaned and resprayed a couple times a year.
