Berkley sells an inexpensive spooling station. It has a place for your reel and a mechanism that holds the spool and keeps tension, they sell it at Academy.

It will work with the spinning reels, i have one and i spool my spining reel. I just recently started using suffix braid. I find its not as stiff as the power pro

I use suffix braid too... I just use the regular but I have been curious about the new suffix

I have the new sufix 832 on two reels...hands down the best braid I have used.

It is a 8 strand braid versus the standard 6. It also has a strand of gortex material to keep water from absorbing into the line. I really like it alot.

I lay the refill spool in in a small bathroom trash can. Works fine.
Make sure the line cone off the BACK side the refill spool. |
