Thanks to everyone with the good comments... Hope to have him taught the basics before duck season (sit, stay, fetch) Gunna work hard with the pup:... Think He'll be a good dog

Congrats man! Labs are great and I love mine.

Rumor has it they can be trained to repair hot water heaters. Unconfirmed rumor of course.

My dog (the dad) is a very good hunting dog. I had him brin birds back at 4 months.

Mine is just too crazy to let in the house. She would destroy the furniture not from chewing but from jumping everywhere.

Just had him retrieving a floating training bouy (bumper) and bringing it back to me. He's definately learning the word NO..... We discipline him by flicking him lightly on the nose when he bites us or furniture
