Minkota is a big company with reputation management. They are not going to put something out until it has been tested pretty good.
They don't want any bad publicity about the Talon, or all that $$$ spent on research and development and advertising is blown. Each has it's advantages and disadvantages. You just gotta figger out which one you can live with.
