The worms come from sharks. From what I hear it is when a shark eats something with them and they disposes of the food. (I guess I should say) smaller fish or bait eat the stuff (aka poo) and then get them and pass them on to the trout as the trout eats them and the chain continues so on so forth. That has just been what I was told over the years. Take it as u wanna. If anyone knows the truth or differently let me know. I always get asked that question
