The cops are the experts on the current criminal trends. If they have determined that a “high capacity” semiautomatic pistol and a .223 semiautomatic rifle with 30-round magazines are the best firearms for them to use to protect people like me and my family, they are obviously the best things for us to use to protect ourselves and our families .

Dang Craig, sorry to see that. Guess its good that I drug my boat down this go round huh?Had a really great time with yall this weekend. Thanks again for the accomodations,and for the sponsor gift for the "yute" division. Kyle was excited about it

Hey Blue Chip, I feel your pain. I have had similar events happen. From ubolts breaking to blow outs on tires. I had a 25' boat w/ tandem axle trailer that had both rear tires blow out and was far from home. I jacked the axle up and tied it off. Made it home that way but it was a slow trip. As for your ubolt problem, pull off a good ubolt and bring it to UTEC in Lake Charles. They can match it for you. They carry all trailer parts. Several years ago, we were headed to Big Lake on a Sunday morning and had the bearings fall apart on a buddies trailer. I called UTEC (even though it was around 7:30 AM on a Sunday morning). The answering service connected me to a person on call, he met me at the store opened it and sold me the needed parts. Can't say enough good things about those guys or the service I received. I have bought all trailer associated parts from UTEC (in Lafayette) since then.

Stainless Steel is not as strong as galvanized steel. It is softer metal.
I wouldn't use them on the axles. Just for info sharing, I had an axle break on me in Lake Charles one time. I took my trailer winch and pulled the axle back in place and binded it with a motorcycle strap, but left the winch cable around the axle so it won't go back against the trailer again. I was able to go slow to launch the boat and tie it up to a dock till I got the trailer fixed.
