lol I was, but i put plus r better now!! I was burning a quarter to lake charles and a quarter back to laf on reg gas. pulling my 17 ft boat. Now with plus i burn a little over a quarter there and back crusing bout 60-65. look at it this way we were paying 3.80 for reg. so why not pay 3.60 for nx grade up rhigher and get better gas/ performance out of ur vehicle.

05 Dodge 2500 5.9 diesel, 4x4 , 35in. MTz's cool air intake, superchips flashpaque tuner, 373. rear end. 19-21mpg highway 55mph to 65mph. 16-18mpg 70mph-85mph. 13-15mpg city, and 14mpg with any 22-24ft. bayboat in tow. All real world calculations, not the lying computer in the roof, that would be more like 23-28mpg. yeah rite!

Don't know how you guys get such high mileage. Had an 02 dodge 1500 5.9 litre averaged 12 over the time I had it. Now I have a 2010 chevy crew 4wd. In about a year and a half, my computer reads 13.8.

I have a 2010 Dodge 1/2 ton 4x4 4 door, with the 5.7 Hemi, and as a few on here can attest, I drive it hard. I get 14-15 on overall average, but it drops to 11 pulling my boat, and that goes to 10 when I am pulling it in a hurry.

Now, with that said, it is a hoss and a pleasure to drive since I have the get up and go of a diesel when I am pulling my boat.

It all depends on how heavy your foot is. Don't matter what you drive.

I have a crew cab GMC with the small V-8 and get right at 19 MPG on non-Ethanol gas. This is driving 20.6 miles to work everyday on 70% 4 lane highway doing an average speed of 72.
