I have also been looking for a rifle for my 8 year old brother to hunt with. Anyone ever shot the managed recoil rounds for a .270?

that's a suggestion I was gonna make for original post, I have never shot them but my granpa was letting my little cousin shoot his 30-06 with the managed recoil before she reached 10yrs old and that's what she hunts with now that she's in her 20's
