A friend from Cocodrie sent me the pic last year and said it was 14lbs - have to love fish tales.

Here is the problem with big trout stories.... I have had several people ask me at the landing if I had a scale...all had the same story! Man I caught a huge trout....it was to be 7 or 8lbs....biggest one I think I ever weight out of at least 7....was like 5lbs.....

Had a guy tell me he had a 7lb trout in his boat..... When he pulled it out I was waiting for the 7lber... He said its this one here... I lmao... I said that trout might be 3.5 or 4....he was like no way....Two bogas...4lbs and that's giving

Alot of people don't really know what a 6+ trout looks like.
I know when I caught my first 5 I thought it was 7.
But the scale proved me wrong! Lol
When I first came to fish big lake for the east vs west tourney and those older guys along with John Solari & steve Lanza pulled their trout out.....WOW!!
I then realized what a BIG trout looked like!!

W
Can u post of the length/ girth = weight stats.
I've seen it b4.
Might help people to have a better understanding that a 22 inch trout ain't gonna weight 7 lbs.

Just a thought.
