wash good ....no salt salt is the problem wash and wash again.
oil good ......some cheep reels i have i pack lightly with Vaseline. also if u can keep them from the salt water it helps but i know i have trouble with that. also dint let them dry then wash it makes it harder to get the salt to dissolve.
