it was rare that i broke off using it but it happened and i missed some good fish b/c of it now i use an improved clinch knot ( i think thats what its called. i just go thru the eye twice to make a cirle and then proceed. havent broken off yet with it

thats all i have ever tied and it has never faied me when tied correctly
