The article didn't state when the deer was taken. Does anyone know when it was? I'm assuming, since the deer is already mounted, this was at least done last year.

I guess that's why you never tell a secret if you want it to remain a secret!

It does say that this was back in December. That picture does look like a mounted deer. Maybe that is a trail cam picture of the deer.

A deer can be mounted in 3 weeks or less. What usually takes so long is waiting in line behind others that have brought deer in before yours. Some taxidermists will accept extra money to move it to the top of the list.
