Maybe, but the swift current and bends of the river will take them into the bank and they will get hung up, you will have jugs scattered all over, better in a little lazier current or bigger body of water. Seen a few on Henderson/Bigeaux yesterday and they were scattered all over, looks like they were lost and abandoned
