Well we went to the reefs south of Marsh Island. Pavy, Croix, and Diamond. Only caught 3 gafftops. Those suckers are nasty. Caught a big one on a Rattletrap....it jut kind of laid there at first then started pulling drag when it got close to the boat. I was hoping for a red when he started pulling but no dice.

We went through the pass at high tide around 7:30. When we came back through around 1:30 the tide had fallen and wow you could pull up to some of those exposed shoals and set out a beach blanket if you wanted to. Very close to the green markers (west side of the pass). I took Dink's advice and hugged the red markers both ways and had no problems other than an engine stall on the way in.
