Default 5/4 Big Lake

Just so I am not accused of only posting reports when we catch alot of fish. My mom watched the kids for us in Houston and my wife and I made a quick trip on the lake yesterday morning. We only fished until 10:00, we only had 11 trout and 1 red. We could have stayed later and maybe toughed out a few more fish but we had to get the kids.

We started the morning down south north of the rock pile and then over the various reefs on the west side of west cove which is where we caught the fish that we did catch.

All fish were caught on various plastics on the bottom.

One of worst trips in a while numbers wise but we had a good time, it was a beautiful day to be on the water.

No pictures, sorry guys.

Sounds like an awesome trip to me. Spent a few morning hours on the water, caught a few and don't have 30 or 40 fish to clean.......very nice day in my book.
