As it happens, today was my first time out trout fishing this year (a Colorado reservoir). My wife and I put 20 trout in the boat, a mix of brown, cutbow, rainbow, and cutthroat, but the limit is 4 each, so we kept 8 and released a dozen. It was a beautiful day to be out fishing. If any of you are ever near Colorado Springs, give me a shout. May and June are the best months for trout, but we've done well at anytime from April - October. We troll spoons in the reservoirs, if you hope to go fly fishing, you'll have to find an expert, cause I am clueless as to that game.

Sounds like a great day and thanks for the offer. Like you, I don't know how to do the fly fishin thing but I do have a fly rod in case any of my clients, while I am Black Bear guiding, want to do some fly fishing.
